Downloading Heaven
As we walked up toward Bell Rock vortex in Sedona, I asked my shamanic guide what to expect. “Am I supposed to feel something in particular?”
According to Native American legend and popular lore — my memory of the details is a bit spotty, please feel free to research — each individual vortex in the area corresponds to either masculine or feminine energies. I believe most people report a fast or rapid vibration — energy speed — at Bell Rock, which must mean that I am spiritually hyperactive, because I experienced a Ritalin Effect.
Bell Rock shut me up and slowed me down — I experienced an incredible hush within that energy. I became very quiet.
The Airport Mesa vortex, which, if I remember correctly, is “supposed” to be more calming made me feel antsy and uncomfortable.
This doesn’t really surprise me — I often experience the opposite of common side effects with medicines… If it makes most people drowsy, I won’t sleep. If it jacks you up, it probably sedates me…
My conclusion, of course (indeed, it’s probably the most common thesis statement you’ll find here running through this variety of topics) is that What You Feel when you experience spiritual energy is incredibly personal — as unique as your fingerprint whorls and the mosaic flecks in the irises of your eyes.
Since this past August 2008, I’ve been receiving increasing amounts of email questions, article suggestions, and consultation requests regarding (primarily) clairaudient and/or auditory phenomena:
- high-pitched ringing in the ears
- faint modem-like noises
- ghost music or ambient loops
- split hearing (when one seems to drop out or become momentarily muffled)
- soft tapping, popping, or other subtle percussive effects
Do I personally have these types of quasi-physical experiences? The short answer is Yes, to all of the above, at one time or another.
Do I believe they are related to psychic ability or spiritual communication of some kind? Yes, ruling out all other potential physiological causes, I’m pretty comfortable at this point associating these episodes with intuitive theories.
Disclaimer
I am quickly developing in the area of medical intuition, but I am certainly not a medical professional, so please understand that I am speaking from an assumption that you have ruled out physical causes. One of the most effective ways that spirit guides and guardian angels will assist you with medical issues is by leading you to professionals — other people — with the proper training, experience, wisdom, and technology to treat you. Don’t trade a good doctor for the advice of a psychic or vice versa — a combination, a synergy, of all available sources is always the highest potential path to effective healing.
That disclaimer stated, I’ve had my physical hearing tested several times in the past, convinced that I must have some medically diagnosable hearing loss. Those tests have shown that my left ear is slightly weaker than my right, but barely discernible, nothing noteworthy, nothing to write a post about… Yet I can not dismiss my personal experience — my clairaudient intuitive impulses seem to come in on the left side of my head and I can not talk on the phone — can’t hear anything — without holding the handset or receiver up to my right.
I have been putting this post off for months (years, really). It seems that every time I experience one of these phenomena, I’m left with a sense of What is going on — that I’m receiving what I call a Download from Heaven, or a soul level software update — but not necessarily with a clear sense of Meaning, Significance, or What New Features may be included in the latest version.
For years, I listened carefully to the pillow tappings, alert for some pattern to reveal itself to me, as if it might be a kind of angelic Morse code. Many of my clients request explanations or interpretations of similar experiences during readings — “What is the message? What are they trying to tell me?”
The catch-all answer to these questions is that you are probably receiving a Download from Heaven — your spiritual software is being updated — but it’s not necessary for you to process a specific message from those individual episodes while they are happening.

Remember the days of dial-up internet and AOL, when you could actually listen to the video game scream of the modem? Those electronic noises simply meant “Your computer is talking to the web.”
Similarly, when your computer receives an automatic software update, you’re prompted with a request to install or a notification that you may continue working while the updates are being downloaded and installed. At most, you may see a progress bar, a graphic depiction of the process taking place… but you don’t have to Do anything. Even if you could watch the download coming in and attempt to read it, you’d see only code scrolling by too fast for your brain to process, in a language that your computer can process and understand perfectly, but your understanding it is not necessary for you to receive and install the goodies. At most, you may be required to reboot for the update to take effect.
This is basically the explanation I receive whenever I ask my spirit guides about this phenomenon — whether for myself or for you.
The really cool thing about having a relationship with all of you is that I have so much incoming data to work with — when I receive multiple emails from readers and clients asking the same question in a given time frame — especially when it corresponds to something similar happening to me — then I know Something’s Going On.
At the end of the Summer, 2008, SO many of us received a spiritual update. It was so Big that it took me months to process on my end… Not to mention, that Download from Heaven seemed to be accompanied by medical problems and challenges down here in Third Dimensional Meat Space. So many of us became physically ill at that time, and even more of us have reported that September 2008 was… um, Challenging, i.e., A Month from Hell, in one way or another. (Which is partly my excuse for not even addressing it — it was nearly impossible for me to report from the eye of the storm… I was just hanging on with both hands to a metaphorical palm tree blown horizontal and trying to ride it out.) There was also a noteworthy Download around/ up to November 19, 2008, the purpose of which was to urge you to Go Bigger.
So, last night, I’m asking Heaven what to publish today at the beginning of this new year — I had a few possibilities in mind — and, what do you know, I lost hearing in my left ear (my spirit ear) for a good fifteen minutes. This was accompanied by a muscle twitch in my left leg.
I am not alone in my theory that we tend to receive intuitive impulses on one side of the body more than the other, with the other side being the stronger in the physical sense. This is certainly true for my eyes as well, with the vision in my right eye consistently testing stronger. Some of you know that I had a minor stroke about six years ago that rendered me partially paralyzed on my left side. Although I have recovered about 90% of the nerve function, I still have this annoying twitch in the left side of my face — which hurts my vanity more than anything…
That extreme experience was accompanied by a surge in the Voices that I hear. Somebody turned up the volume to a degree that I could no longer deny or repress it. I don’t know Why, I don’t know How you may experience Downloads from Heaven, I don’t know that all of you who receive them are necessarily aware of them when they occur, but if it makes you feel better to know, we are not alone in this. We each get a little piece of the truth — our personal connection to Source; this is my little puzzle-piece contribution.
Note the signs and the patterns that are unique to you. Some of these may be similar to what others report; some may not.
My guides and guardians assure me that Whatever it is that’s being Upgraded, Shifted, Adjusted — the New Features — will reveal themselves when the time is right, and that may not be at the exact moment we note the New Code coming in.
I asked early this morning if they could give me a Calendar of Heavenly Downloads for 2009 — something global that we might all use to anticipate and track what’s happening. I’m going to post this for whatever it’s worth, as a kind of experiment. It might be interesting to see if any of these dates prove to be relevant throughout this upcoming year. Please note that corresponding physical experiences will most likely occur in the week or so preceding these dates.

freaky, isn’t it! i’m getting ALL of these things - in greatly increasing frequency. even freakier, i haven’t said a thing to you about it!
i do like your computer update analogy - it ISN”T necessary for us to decode the information. just let it run.
my most notable, recent download experience, though, was distinctly physical in sensation. i was just chillin’ on the patio late one evening last fall, maybe november, when i felt something i can only compare to how an adult grasps both sides of an attentionally-challenged child’s face to force eye contact and insure the message is being heard. i thought, “ooh. someone wants to tell me something.” once they had my attention, i felt a slight muscle rigidity spread throughout my body, accompanied by a barely perceptible vibratory, buzzing sort of sensation. it lasted several seconds, after which my muscles relaxed, the buzzing ceased, my face was released and i heard, “we’re done”.
Great article, Slade - I’m so glad you addressed this topic. I have to say that I don’t experience my own heavenly downloads in quite the same way … I usually get tired and overcome by the intense desire to do nothing at all. I get spacey, unfocused, like my consciousness is being directed elsewhere without any clear sense of what that’s about. That can last anywhere from an afternoon to a few days!
I especially like your point that we don’t have to “get it” consciously as it happens. Whatever the download, the information will consciously arise as needed.

I was so glad to read your topic this week! I have been hearing high-pitched noises for many years and just thought my ears were somehow sensitive to certain sound frequencies that people around me didn’t happen to be sensitive to. A few years ago - I think just before or after I got pregnant with my son - I started hearing very faint music at night. Too low to really recognize a song or even type of music most times - again, just thought I might be very attuned to music any neighbors around me might be playing. I did pause a few times when I would turn my ears toward the direction of a neighbor I could realistically expect to hear playing music…it would go away, and then I would turn my head back to wherever it was originally and would hear it again. At that time I was living in an apt. complex, so I could still pretty easily pass it off as strange but rational (my old definition anyway). In the last year, my son and I moved into a detached house and I have continued to hear music, and also have started to hear what sounds like talk radio shows. Still all very faint, and I can’t recognize songs, lyrics or understand any conversations. With the “radio shows”, I started out hearing only one, and now have progressed to hearing 2 or 3 at the same time - can’t understand a thing from any but somehow completely aware that I am hearing separate and distinct “broadcasts”. All of my neighbors are in their 60’s and 70’s, so I don’t hear much loud music coming from their houses. This has been too interesting and unexplainable rationally for me to ignore any longer, but I’ve had no idea what or why? I am totally excited after reading your article that I’m honorably included in this spiritually developing group of souls! I can’t wait to see what changes come in the future!! Thank you for validating my barely awakening soul.

Interestingly, my download methods are a combination of yours as well as Andrea’s. It’s really good to know that I’m not all weird and alone in this.
I, too, have this frustrating swapped reactions from stimulants and sedatives that no one seemed to understand (till you came along), and I’m convinced since very young that I have two nerves in my brain that were plugged into the wrong sockets.
I will always remember the late night when my guides told me to “email Slade” about the phenomenas I’d experienced since end of summer 2008. It was one of the clearest (and also surprising) messages I’d received to date … just two words, and I was so sure it wasn’t my mind talking as I was so ready to sleep! Dragging my lazy butt out of bed, switching my laptop on and writing my email to you left me feeling so puzzled - I remembered asking, “Why NOW???”, but it was worth its while.

I’ve been having this high pitched sound in my ears for several years. I thought it was tinnitus. It’s usually louder at night when I’m about to go to sleep. It comes and goes. Does anyone else have this condition, thinking it is tinnutis? And what exactly is tinnutis ,anyway?
Thanks, Slade. Knowing others are experiencing these things makes it so much easier to know what I know. As I’m writing this, the cricket music in my head is turned up twice as loudly.
A note: Doreen Virtue told me that if and when that music/buzzing becomes distracting/unpleasant, I can ask the angels to turn it down. That works for me. I just pray: Please, angels. Turn down the angel music. And down it goes.
OMG!!! Is what you’ve described a possible explanation of what I have going through especially in the last one week? I have not been functional due to my blocked ears and a low hum which sometimes give way to a shrill piercing sound. I’ve seen a doctor, who explained that it was due to a flu and altitude changes before I flew off for my holiday in Japan 2+ weeks ago and that there is nothing to worry about. After one week of antibiotics to treat a not-very-serious flu, however, my earache continues. I’ve also tried to clear emotional issues that can possibly come from my ears. Needless to say, I’ve been asking my spirit guides for answers.
This morning, the hum was louder than 2 days ago. I was in greater pain. And then, I saw in my email inbox that you’ve got a post on auditory phenomena!! One thing is for sure, I’ve been intending for a software upgrade in the beginning of December….only to stop when I remembered that the timing would not be a good one since I was going away on my vacation.
My questions are how do I know for sure if it is really some kind of spiritual message that is coming through my ears or if I am going through some kind of software upgrade. Would you happen to know how long the ringing usually lasts? Mine has been highly distracting and I’m hoping that it will stop soon.

Interesting, for sure. While I experience the ringing in the ears and sudden muffled ear sensations, I also experience bouts of vertigo/dizziness. Is any one else familiar with this? I was worried when this happened the first time- as it lasted a whole week, with me having to be in bed for an entire day in that week. I’m now going through a second round of this dizzy dance that’s entering its second week.
I’ve been told that the 21st of Dec. marked the full activation of 5th dimensional energies- something to that extent- which correlates well with the emergence of this current bout of vertigo. Though I wonder if the dizziness speaks more of a physical adjustment rather than a ‘heavenly download.’
Nevertheless, I think I’ll have to request they tune it down a notch!
Hi Slade, my goodness you have amazing intuitive ability to post the perfect subject matter at exactly the perfect time! Thank you for sharing this Download with all of us on Planet Earth! I am so thankful to know that I am not alone with this! I was beginning to feel that the changing tones in my hearing was manifesting into some sort of brainwave electrical malfunction!!!
The ringing, buzzing, droning, high-pitched pinging in my ears can change instantly sometimes, becoming different from ear to ear. I feel my poor brain is sitting in the middle of all of this, no wonder I can’t think clearly sometimes!
Also physically, my body is experiencing lots of aches/pains all over. At times I can become quite stumbly, and I have needed to sleep through the day now for the past couple of months. I feel my body becomes drained from any physical exertion i.e. gardening, walking, shopping in supermarket especially, I feel other people’s energies around me and I become disoriented!
Also my weight has changed drastically from being thin for months to now being bloated, overweight. The only way I can cope with all these changes in my daily living is to sleep it off. At present I am experiencing strange sensations from the “half moon” it caught my attention tonight by “intensifying its presence” thru the window by my computer, actually I have just looked out again and it has “disappeared”. Last night my electric kettle suddenly started to boil by itself???? That made me feel a bit eerie! I have also felt a presence in my bedroom while I was drifting into sleep. My animals have been staying very closeby as well, as if they sense that they need to watch over me, even the bumblebees are doing a “buzz by” .. well, that’s great, I get to say a quick hello & thank you to my favourite little buddies.

When I am at a power place I usually hear a high-pitched ringing or whistle in my ears, and the stronger the power place the more pronounced this sound. But it’s a sound more felt than heard. And, if the power place is REALLY strong, I also feel a pressure in my sinuses. This often only occurs the first time I visit such a place - I think it’s the power place’s way of calling my attention.
I had one of these downloads around the end of the summer. It was the first one where I figured out that’s what was going on. They seem to be a little more dramatic for me that strange sounds, though. In this case, I was calling upon some gods in my tradition and rather than appearing before me, as I had expected, they came through me. I don’t generally aspect when no one else is around - I always thought it seemed more effective for them to speak to me directly rather than through me if I’m the only one listening. But in this case they had other intentions in mind.
The session consisted of them swaying my body and using my voice to create deep warbling tones. I could feel myself and the space around me changing in response, but I couldn’t understand what the point of it was. Now that several months have passed I can look back and see how much has changed since that happened. At the time I was confused, but after a day or two decided that I just didn’t need to know right now and that I would find out eventually if I was supposed to.
I had a similar experience two days ago. I can’t wait to see what will happen next
By the way, January 11th is the first day after the full moon night of the 10th.
First - please, PLEASE - anyone who’s experiencing any sort of ringing in the ears, especially if accompanied by dizziness or other symptoms - get checked out by a doctor. (That’s with my medical hat on - sorry!).
And second - (metaphysical hat on this time) I’m fascinated that so many people are experiencing this ringing / humming. I’ve had this for around four years now (nothing medically wrong I’m told). With me it’s low-pitched and more of a vibration than an actual sound, and can be very aggravating and disturbing at times. My psychic abilities have increased and my dreams have become much more frequent, detailed and intense. Anyone else experiencing this dream thing?

Talk about synchronicity!!! I had logged off my emails and was about to go for a walk when my main guide suggested that I go back to my emails– that there was a new one that was directed to me and many others. And there was your email.
Since I had recently written to you about having what I call a high pitched vibrational sound that I hear all day since meeting my guides (2 years ago), it was very special to me. And now know that it was important to many others as well.
To Glen who wrote that the sound gets louder when he lays down to go to sleep–It happens to me, as well, as I am relaxing and I am preparing myself to listen to my guides during the dream state. The sound also gets louder when I read blogs etc like Slade’s and Andrea’s that resonate positively with me as well as when I am meditating, especially when having a council meeting with my guides.
The sound is not intrusive but is audible all day and more so when I choose to pay attention to it. It is more pronounced in my right ear.
Not that being alone in experiencing my spiritual path is a bad thing, its also nice to know that there are others having the some of the same experiences.

After reading all of these comments, I have to add my concerned comment to Evelyn and anyone else experiencing pain or infection symptoms with the ringing…
The ringing that I think Slade is describing is not usually accompanied by ear infection or inflammation.
From personal experience, I can say that sometimes, these “downloads” can overwhelm the body’s ability to cope–maybe we’re overwhelmed already (it’s a stressy time in human history)–and we get more serious symptoms. I’ve had earaches and, more recently, migraines, when things get intense.
We all know that illness begins at the etheric/energetic level and even the most spiritually evolved among us is going to get sick sometimes. If there is pain or any sign of infection–please see your health care practitioner–doesn’t matter if it’s an acupuncturist or good old fashioned MD. Let someone look at you.
WOW! Isn’t this exciting to read all the emails coming in about downloads, the growing number of people experiencing symptoms of ascension is wonderful. I was particularly interested in Jonah’s email about the swaying sensation and then sounding out. I have experienced this on many occasions now, usually with spiritual friends around me (they are there to lay me down afterwards when whatever the energy is finishes with me!) I usually take 5-10 minutes to come back to my physical body (and NO it isn’t some form of epilepsy I know all about this too after having two episodes during pregnancy. I have sensations like walking on a boat, you know how they can rock you! I have participated in several TONING workshops, and I feel probably that Jonah has toned to Mother Earth, if very base/low toning this would affect the first chakra maybe connecting to Earth element, the roots of the Planet. Sounds like RRRR sound or the beautiful toning of the Dalai Lama AUMMMMM. Anyone who has listened to him toning would know what I mean - especially His Peace Prayer.

Let me reiterate my Disclaimer paragraph, as well as stress a few additional points about the difference between what might be a medical issue or a metaphysical one:
Absolutely you may ask your guides to Turn Down the Volume if these experiences are distracting or unpleasant. (At most, I have been annoyed while trying to read…)
Although physical symptoms or ailments may correspond with spiritual experiences or explanations, you absolutely should NOT Suffer from this, if at all necessary. Most of what I describe is NOT painful or accompanied by any serious condition at ALL. (Although you may note that medication or treatments don’t seem to affect the experience much — still, for God’s sake, rule that out through all the most grounded, logical methods available to you.)
And now I shall quote myself for further emphasis:

I’d like to add one thing if I might about these sensations one can feel. Recently I’ve been in school learning energy work for therapeutic purpose.
The one simple thing one can remember is your body is a vessel. Whether you interpret that very literally as a housing for your flesh and organs or take it to a more esoteric level, receiving these communications from heaven.
My point is, if you are conscious of these events occurring in or around you, you also have a certain level of control of this vessel. I know having control over these downloads sounds strange. But you can learn to ‘turn down the volume or intensity’ if these experiences are disturbing to you. Simply by putting your intention and attention either in the direction of the distraction or putting your intention and attention where you would prefer it to be. The sounds or sensations will fade.
And to repeat Slade’s warning, none of this experience is painful, harmful or even unpleasant. The possibility it seems annoying is in the unfamiliarity. If it is painful or overly distressing, accompnied by regular types of symptoms such as infection or fever, than your body is sending you other messages of physical health concern. In other words, if you feel sick, you probably are sick. The premise I was taught says some people are just sensitive enough to hear or feel these things. Just like anything else one has learned to manage, this energy can be included.
And like the ’solution’ to so many things, if you stop and pay attention, that is often just enough so you know what your next step will be. In this case medical care or you’ve learned to put this tapping or whatever, far enough in the background that you can continue on with your immediate project undisturbed.
It is your fascination aka paying attention to what’s going on that magnifies your perception along with acute sensitivity you were probably born with.

Of all of the Sedona vortex sites, I had the most profound experience at Bell Rock. I felt the Ritialin affect you spoke of and a very heightened sense of awareness and excitement. The reason Bell Rock was most profound for me was because I became very excited, but felt like I wanted to leave. My heart was pounding in my ears. I had a tingling sensation all over. I was feeling the fight or flight response. There was a heightened expectancy of something I didn’t understand. I went from feeling excited to quiet and contemplative. I was confused about the feelings, since other votex sites were invigorating and beautiful, but filled me with joy and peace. I did not feel peace at Bell Rock. I would not describe this as a negative experience, but I did not find the experience pleasant. I was too fitful to enjoy my lunch. In the quiet which followed, I felt a deep sadness. This is not a feeling I experience very often. It was perplexing. It was like tasting a surprisingly delicious and fine wine with a bitter finish and lingering aftertaste. The aftertaste which causes one to cleanse the pallet and refrain from choosing that drink.
I know this will not diminish anything you felt or experienced at Bell Rock. I feel that all the vortex experiences are individual, just like any other spiritual experience. As in all things, there is beauty in diversity.
When I was asked by a Sedona psychic how I felt about the vortex sites, I told her the only one I would not revisit was Bell Rock. She asked me why; and where I was on the rock. I was overlooking the roadway with the parking area below on the right. There were people on the other side of the rock, which was the location of better view. I prefer the areas without others and value the feeling of the experience more than the view. I usually hike early before others are present. She told me there was an Indian massacre there below. I have never checked to confirm if this was true. Perhaps if I had gone to a different location on the rock my experience would have been different. She told me the experience I had was not uncommon.
All of the vortex sites were emotionally and spiritually charged experiences. I appreciated all of them, including Bell Rock. Bell Rock was just unusually emotional for me. Based on your experience, perhaps I will try Bell Rock again. I really love to hike in Sedona. In fact, I love to hike just about anywhere. Sedona is so easy compared to the class three(+) scrambles, dry mountain river bed bolder hopping, and hand and foot hold cliff faces where I live.
I hope you had some nice meals at the Secret Garden…a great place to eat.

My ear issues are definitely a combination of stuff, including springing from a flu that I had before flying off for my holiday in Japan and the harsh cold weather there. However, over the last two days, I also found out that much was also due to karmic ties to the place where I was going. I share about what I’ve been doing in terms of clearing work on my blog. I woke up this morning to significantly reduced disturbances. Discomfort level is like a 1 from a previous 10 score. The twitches that continue inside my left ear now feel more like sensory vibrations.
Hi Slade, I wanted to let you know that I too have been experiencing various ear phenomenon. When I am in a relaxed state, I can hear high frequency noise. Many times the noise changes frequencies. Sometimes it will come and go in 5 seconds. Lately though it’s been stronger. It doesn’t bother me and I can tune it out. I’ve tried Automatic Writing when the noise is very strong and I’m very relaxed. The results have been very surprising. I have done readings for three people using AW and have been spot on. For example, I did a reading for a good psychic in my area. The words I wrote down were, “Douglas had better remember his medication if he wants to stay out of the hospital.” When I told her of the words, she said she had a friend named Douglas and she would contact him. She validated my reading by telling me her friend Douglas has severe MS and was thinking just the day before about cutting back on his medicine to see how he does. It was very rewarding to know that I may have helped someone avoid another hospital trip. I had no idea she had a friend named Douglas and that he was sick. Since this experience I’ve decided to start a spiritual psychic circle for people in my area. This gift is real and it’s nice to hear about others who may experience the same thing. I haven’t experienced my own heavenly download for quite some time now. But when I do, I also hear high-pitched ringing in the ears and/or soft voices. At first, it was a little disturbing…but eventually, it didn’t surprise me anymore and I got used to it

From “How to Meet and Work With Spirit Guides” by Ted Andrews: “Often those who are beginning to hear spirit (clairaudience) will hear a soft buzz, whisper, ring, pop, or crack that cannot be explained as a known physical occurrence, such as the house settling. Slade, what a great article. I don’t hear all of the noises. I think most of my downloading from Heaven (What a great phrase!) comes through my dreams. Lots and lots of nights, my dreams take me to classrooms where I learn things that I don’t remember in the morning when I wake up. When I wake up, I just know that I was in a classroom again. Usually I am tired like I worked all night. This classroom situation will go on for weeks sometimes. Even though I don’t remember the things that I learn, I KNOW that I remember and use the stuff on some level of understanding.
So, anyone have any wisdom about migraines? Experience with healing them? Connection to downloads/resistance? My sense is that they are both linked to my menstrual cycle and also all about my resistance to guidance. Any thoughts?
People will experience energy on different levels. Your post invites people to explore sensations they may not be readily able to explain. You remind them its okay. I wrote a post about the vortex effect a phenomena that fascinates me. It is very present and noticeable in Sedona.
Last night on January 26, I was laying in bed trying to go to sleep when all of sudden the tone in my fan and the whole room changed. It was so distinct in my left ear that I sat up in bed wondering why everything became muffled. Then I could hear the low tone in my ear, then it was over leaving me a little shaken. I too experience the ringing in the ears and quite often, plus I was sick alot last year.
Didn’t read this post until today . . . and WOW, the weeks surrounding 01/11/09 were incredible! I don’t mean to leave too long of a message, but perhaps the details will prove to be important - there is certainly Something Going On Here!
Thankfully, I was on break from school and was able to take it all in . . . but school started on the 11th, and I was so overwhelmed that I couldn’t even focus on my classes (and that’s saying a lot for me). It certainly didn’t feel wrong that I couldn’t focus, it felt GREAT!
The weeks leading up to the 11th were incredible.
I didn’t run into this field of study until about a year ago (I am very young), and had only been looking for conformation that it was all “real” since then. Of course, it was given to me, but slowly. Eventually, I decided it was time to learn how to directly contact my Guides, and was waiting for that to happen.
I had just heard about automated writing - no details, just the name, really - and then one night, it just happened! I was working on my computer (as usual) and all the sudden I was told to open up a blank document and get ready to type. I resisted, momentarily, “I’m just making this up, etc” but quickly shoved those thoughts aside, closed my eyes, and started typing. It felt rhythmic to me, like when I play my drumset. It was a very brief session, and it confirmed what my brain was kind of hinting at - it summarized my messy thoughts into a page of instructions to be used immediately.
Just before that, I had made a very significant breakthrough in regards to my relationships with people, initiated through discussions with strangers on the internet - cumulating in a series of intense, all night discussions with somebody I met online.
Around Thanksgiving time, I found a book on the Michael teachings by Hoodwin Shephard, complete with an excellent introduction to channeling generally. It was the first time I had heard of channeling at all.
Then, a few months later (late December), I meet somebody randomly on the internet, just chatting about how crazy women are (lol), and then he starts in with “You’re probably not going to believe me, but I directly channel this entity, and it’s starting to happen to me right now . . . ” and then the levee broke, and information just comes spewing out of him. But, what he said looked like my own words, not his - like the message was written by me! And I felt some kind of connection unlike I’ve ever experienced.
So all this happens, and I’m supposed to go to school on the morning of the 11th. So I get there, and I can barely sit still! It felt like something was flowing through me, like I was walking between two worlds, like there was nothing in my way at all! Everything felt different, like somebody put in new light bulbs or something, and everything (especially people) looked different, too.
I remember one specific moment, walking down a hallway, as if walking on a cloud, and feeling a sensation of things coming together in and around me, like two points of an equilateral triangle inside my head reaching to the third point a few inches in front of my forehead and then projecting out down the hallway . . . very hard to describe. I fantasized about shooting lightning out of my fingertips like the Emperor or stopping bullets like Neo (lol)!
Of course, I still feel this way, but not to the same degree. But, man, I can feel it getting stronger just writing this message!
I also had a conversation with my best friend about one of his relationships - no spirituality mentioned. And then, a few days later, my best friend randomly comes up to me and says, “Sheldon, man, you complete me - spiritually.” One sentence and a big smile, that’s all, then walks away.
The whole ordeal was filled with ending relationships and adventures and starting new ones . . . including a new band!

I keep meaning to drop by & let you know that on March 17th — just as you predicted — I received a “download” in the form of ringing in my ears. No, it was not brought on by me thinking about having one on that date. I purposefully avoided reading those dates in this post so that I could come back & double check the dates AFTER I experienced the phenomenon. While I realize it is hardly scientific proof of this phenomenon, I just wanted to give you a heads up & let you know that I did have this experience on at least one of the dates you predicted.
Thanks for this post! I’ve been experiencing things like this since I was a kid, usually followed by a little “boost” or whatever in my powers of intuition. Never understood it until now!

This just explains so much what is happening to me. Last summer I ended up in hospital, really ill, for three days. And the most amazing synchronicity with your article is that in September 2008, I actually went to Sedona for the first time and visited the vortexes. But I didn’t know anything at all about Sedona, I just went there for a conference and when I was there realised where I landed up.
It is amazing what you say about June 11 being a Heaven Download (love that!) time since in the last week and especially the last few days, I have felt dizzy, suffered from vertigo, been seeing blue spots everywhere and was violently ill for one day. I still have aches and pains as I write this and am sitting here with tinnitus as I read this blog ( a few days after June 11).
I am so happy to have read this, but don’t quite know what is happening to me, and when I go into these dizzy spells with blue spots, I can’t seem to do anything else, which is certainly annoying for my efficiency in my life, but understanding it more makes me feel much better.
I have been trying to open up psychically lately too.
