Slade, it is a great interview. I always enjoy learning more about the people that Stephen interviews. As I said earlier today, if I didn’t already know you and subscribe to Shift Your Spirits, I would after reading Stephen’s interview. You are a fascinating person and it shows in Stephen’s interview. Your friendship always enriches my life.
I was utterly fascinated to hear that you’re ordained as a Unitarian minister! My mother (there’s that Mother again!) founded a Unitarian Church in Alexandria, Virginia, so I was a practicing Unitarian as a child — if there IS such a thing a practicing Unitarian, which I doubt!
I also want to grab people’s attention here on the Comments board to mention that I had a reading from Slade, which was nothing short of galvanizing. If you’re considering it (Lisa, this means you!), I highly recommend it. I wish I could give a reading as birthday presents to friends and family, except that I know it might seem pushy to do so. At any rate, the imagery works: his readings are a PRESENT, a GIFT, a GIVING to yourself. Why not open yourself to receiving that guidance and wisdom?
