Magically Free Energy

Image - Magic BroomDo you place all-or-most of your emphasis on the spaces in your life you want to FILL?

How much energy do you really devote to creating space?

It’s something I’ve been contemplating a lot lately — I’m feeling my pending 40th birthday as an impulse to de-clutter — the physical exercise component of a compulsion to engage in “Life Review”…

Those voices wear me out… I’m not who I used to be, and I’m not going to become who I used to be in the future. So, I really don’t care to listen to those recordings anymore. They’re like an old bunch of cracked CDs, that have long been burned to digital, anyway — if I decide I need to drag one out.

I’m going to become the New Me in my future, and for that I am evaluating the past, as I clear it out and donate it to the Universe — I’m looking through an old box of memories and realizing what I really need most is The Box.

I’m compressing some energetic archives — I’m defragmenting my soul computer — and I’m expressing it in a very real way.

I’m making my first tomorrow — by making room for it.

Clearing a patch and turning the dirt over.

Creating Space.

So, yeah, maybe we do have access to infinite metaphysical space for our experiences — it’s not like there’s a cosmic penalty or update nag screen that pops up on our souls — the Flow is a stream and we’re the hoses… Sure it’s possible. It’s abundantly clear.

But the energy shift you feel when you remove physical clutter is not only “possible” — it’s obvious. It’s not just “hope” — it happens!

It feels Really Good to breathe in a room where desktops are empty, and bookcases are strictly maintained (tackling those shelves was like shoving a spiny paper glacier back into the side of a miniature mountain wall). The floors are bare of office stacks… and that constant trickle of commercial flotsam you bring in with you every time you go outdoors has simply vanished (into the shredder or the folders where it all belongs — but it feels like it disappeared into thin air).

Now, as I look through a doorway or walk across a room, my floors and flat surfaces SIGH with me — WHILE smiling and singing. The carpets remind me of the Pixel People in those new Prius “Harmony” commercials.

Wow. There is No Energy Source quite like Empty Space in your daily habitrail. There is no course you can tap into quicker in the physical world than making space for energy to run right around your ankles without obstruction.

To wade through your own light-ness. Light version You. (Might even make you dance a little, if you get high off of Organizational Productivity.)

Liberate Your Floors!

Conquer Your Closets! Save Your Drawers!

Can you see your bedroom floor? How much of it could you — might you — see that you can’t at the moment? What about the floor of your office? (… your car floorboards?)

OhMyGod — Listen:
If you want to upgrade the design of your lifestyle Today, then you must go uncover some clear floors immediately! The doors to other worlds really ARE under our beds and at the backs of our wardrobes after all! Can you believe it? All this time — right under our noses.

We’re old enough to see that the Monster Energy lurking around our rooms is called Stuff — plain and simple — Junk. And we don’t like confronting it. (Who feels like filing an obscenely fat little stack of debit card receipts from your wallet when there’s email to check or a favorite show on TV?)

The good news, kids, about the Magic Spell of Decluttering — the Monsters that hide in the margins of your shadows are not invisible — they’re better than spiritually apparent — they’re in 3-D! They’re Real. They’re totally easy to spot and set free.

Look around — you can’t miss them. (Yeah, they’re camped out in all those physical things you literally trip over, yet continue to ignore or pretend you don’t see. You’ve got a little low vibrational shanty town cropping up in the corner.)

And you can’t imagine just how much you’re going to enjoy All That when it is gone.
I am here to testify!

What’s left in the place of creating a sense of space is my new drug of choice.

I am right there with you on this topic! When my Mom came to visit, the first two days were all about clearing away all the clutter, going through all my boxes, sifting through old letters and school stuff: textbooks, flash cards, loan papers, etc… It was so cathartic! What a difference it has made in my life. I know exactly what you meant by ‘What I really needed was the box!’

I’m a firm believer in decluttering. I’ve decluttered several times over the last couple of years, usually coinciding with emotional upheaval. I’ve done it partly as a way of clearing physical space to make room for something new but also to make space in my head too.

I like what you say - “I’m not who I used to be, and I’m not going to become who I used to be in the future”. I hadn’t looked at it like that but it’s definitely true. Clearing out physically and clearing out spiritually, making room for a new you. And all very much tied in with “letting go” too. Looking back now, I can see how I’ve reaped the benefits of clearing out. New things and people have come into my life, aligned with who I am now and what I need to be doing.

Okay, self proclaimed double Gemini and proud of it. Part 1 says I know, I know, I know. Part 2 says No, No, No! Part 3 says “Hey, she’s the one that collects all this stuff - make her declutter. Part 4 can’t hear a thing, she’s on the way to the book store.

I went from a 1900 sq foot home, to a 800 sq foot condo - but have so much in storage. As we pack for our return to the mainland, I think how in heaven’s name am I’m going to survive moving into a RV to travel for a few years? Thank God for whomever came up with the idea for the Kimble!

This was such a timely post for me … I’ve been caught up in a whirlwind of shopping and the acquiring of stuff, since I doubled my amount of living space when I moved into my new house. BUT in all that “filling” of space, I have such awareness of what needs to be left undone and open … at least for now.

Some areas of my home are ready to reflect the person I am right now … others need to be left a bit bare, tidy but still an empty canvas for future self-expression.

    Blessings,
    Andrea

    Exactly!
The constant shedding of our external skins… The glow of properly exfoliated life….
Clutter is like that dirty sunscreen you wash down the drain at the end of the day, it has done its job.
Tomorrow is a new day to bask in the glow of sun with new clutter to protect us from the damaging rays of others.

    Cheers, to clearing the clutter!

I can totally relate to this post! In the last few weeks, since I’ve been laid off, I have rearranged the living room and completely emptied, gone through and re-packed the spare room closet! It has felt soooooo good to do it! I only have one project left and that is our bedroom! Hope to do that this week!!

I was just in the process of cleaning my room when I read this! Ha and its true Slade! Its like I can breathe better, the room that is suppose to be my haven, place of meditation and spiritual practice is SO much lighter and open and free with a good clearing of space! Still have more to clear but feel better already :) Great post x

This has been my theme for 2009, clearing, burning, giving, selling and/or trashing- declutter making way for the new year. Women’s EFT Prosperity summit had people specializing on this very topic. It reminds me of traveling with parents as a young child would ask, painfully, are we their yet?

Timely post, Slade, I’ve been at this all year and can only say, I’m doing my best.
As a young girl, it was one box of “stuff”, then another, darnitest thing I, now, have a three bedroom home and like Betsy, a room filled with my young son’s remnants of “my room” syndrome droning that part of MYSPACE! sHue…he has moved but (sorry) I dare to walk into that one until the others are visibly energized (material relief). It would be too overwhelm-la’menting until signs of light flicker in. (love the pic)

Granting myself all the time enough to do it, I, look forward to “Overproductivity”! In my case; when that feeling becomes… and wide open space reveals itself as it so desires. Freedom from all these stackes of ankle-bytes and headfull scrapes of paper; outdated warped, scratched, and tattered vinyls which I can’t dance to anymore anyway…lol…all like shanty town from a historic western resort except it’s 90% [p-] and gotta get r done!

In the meantime… curious to know if anyone wants to come over for the painting party to follow ??? -the clearing & cleaning is thoroughly done-
There will be music for dancing!!!! and Karyoke too!!! Good Luck Everyone & Congratulations to all who has no activity other than Spirit Space! Wish me Luck!!!!!!!!

    Happy 40 Slade!!!
    Love ya,

    Slade,
I have been wondering if Saturn is in retrograde or something because I have been feelign the same way. Not just that, I’ve been watching everyone around me responding to this similar energy. I am such a proponent of clearing space that I developed a product called the House Blessing Kit, which I have on my website. I recently used it to clear my space and it feels great. The process involves physically cleaning the space and then energetically clearing it. I couldn’t do without it!
    Blessings,
    Mary

fyi, Jupiter is retrograde until October 13th, the benefactor is actually giving this Saturn (feel like) feeling when it’s simply a gentle nudge from lady luck.. It is time for reflection, clearing, etc. and surrendering all notions of “this may work if”…

Slade said it best - “…. and I’m not going to become what I used to be in the future”. thank you!!!! My friend Mitch says, “I used to be something, now I’m something else” He did give me permission to use this.

I am so looking forward at the desired outcome now, that I know what I know and I dunno much…lol

I hoping it is appropriate to say this because it is not exactly on this topic, however, some are calling this time, The Condor and The Eagle”. Paraphrasing this is a time of nectar (Aq), we have moved from maize (Nep).

When I heard that, I thought of your article on honey bees and hornets. What am I thinking….

It’s just as important to clear out the internal clutter as the external clutter - making room for new ideas and projects to be developed. How can improvement happen if one is stuck in the past, unwilling to give up the old to make room for the new?

  13. Kara-Leah on July 23rd, 2009 2:26 am

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes…. so simple, so true, so powerful.

I’m living in a 110 sq metre house right now that’s being renovated…. constant clutter, constant dirt and dust, various tradesmen in the house, stuff being moved from room to room all the time, depending on which room is being worked on…

And it messes with my energy big time!!!! Can’t wait to get back to clean, clear, clarity….
