The Meaning of 11:11
Do you notice recurrences of numbers or times such as 11:11? Are there certain numerical patterns that seem to follow you or pop up in contexts that feel like meaningful coincidence? How do you interpret the appearance of number sequences?
In response to a reader’s question, I’d like to share my thoughts on the significance of seeing the number 11:11, 1111, or 11/11.

How can I offer something new to the collective wisdom regarding these kinds of spiritual signs and symbols?

When I was a teenager, I had this really cool goth-chick friend named Galen who would suddenly cry out “11:11 — Make a wish!”
Ascension
Many years later, in the early days of the web, on old school sites like Crystal Links, I first encountered the notion that 11:11 is connected to human ascension. 11:11 is a “trigger” or wake-up call encoded in human DNA to correspond with the technological advancements of the digital age.
Conversations with my spirit guides and Mother Mary confirm this global connection — we are fast approaching a technological singularity which is the crucial physical factor in the ascension of the human race. I’ve written a bit about futurism and a concept I call “Adam Task” — mankind’s assigned role in co-creating our world with Source (God) — language as the basis for information technology, which, in the near future, progresses beyond the recent invention of virtual reality into meatspace (material reality).
But what does it mean when you see 11:11 in everyday life?
I interpret 11:11 as a message that means:
- a “stargate” — or portal has opened
- “We are go for lift off!”
- “Prepare to ascend”
- “You’re on the right track — keep going!”
- “You’re getting warmer; you’re on to something big…”
- a doorway or window of opportunity opens before you
Generally, I interpret 11:11 as a confirmation of the choices you are making. Look at the context in which the number 11:11 appears — pay particular attention to how this is an answer to a prayer or question you’ve been pondering.
Explore the context, from YOUR perspective:
- What are you thinking in the moment the number catches your eye?
- What decisions have you made?
- What new opportunities present themselves to your consciousness?
- What big ideas have you just had for which 11:11 is a vote of confidence from your spirit guides, guardian angels, your higher self, or the Creator?

To me, 11:11, which I saw at 11:11 pm on a train platform clock almost an hour ago, means “you’re on the right track”.
I’ve never paid much attention to 11.11 - but I do have my own set of ‘meaningful’ numbers. The trick I find is not to LOOK for them, but to NOTICE them when they come up…
After all, numbers are everywhere, and it’s very easy to allow the ego to make up meaning willy nilly based on seeing certain numbers.
I interpret seeing 11:11 as stay
awake nudges from my angels.
For me, it’s not that the number
actually ‘catches my eye’, it’s like
my chin is pulled in a gentle grab
to look and see 11:11.
It’s not like I say to myself,
Hmmm I wonder what time it is,
or how much time do I have…
Nope… just BAMM LOOK at the
clock now.
I always smile and thank Spirit.
Commit yourself to interpret a set of numbers in a certain way and you set yourself up to receive clues from The Other Side as to the relevance and significance of your words and deeds.
I need not look for these numbers; I notice them, yes, but I notice them with that tiny, compelling jolt of recognition that says: “you’ve just made contact with a messenger or message”.
But without an ongoing sensitivity to context in terms of what you’ve thought, where you’ve been, or what you’ve done, the numbers won’t mean much. Awareness with sensitivity is key.
I have been seeing 11:11 the past two weeks just randomly when looking at the clock. I had heard of those numbers relating to ascension before. It had just not been in my experience.
Instead my experience is usually 12:34 when looking at clocks. In fact I once lived at an address 1234 #5. Interesting. But I thought of 12:34 as a progression toward something.
That progression may be to the recent 11:11 numbers I’ve seen.
Thanks for writing this! I have found 11:11 (or 11.11, 11/11) to be a sort of trigger. I tend not to see it for awhile, having other number sequences take it’s place, and then it will come back for a time. I imagine to get me back on the right path. Most of the time I see it as a gentle nudge that I am getting distracted and there is a job to be done and I have to work on being prepared when the time comes.

When it comes to seeing numbers like this, I find that the number 42 pops up a lot for me. If you’ve read Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, you’ll already know that the number 42 is the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. As a big fan of these books, I suppose I just came to associate that number with answers from “beyond”. Every time I see the number 42 now, though, it always seems to be when I’m looking for an answer to something, and the number is usually attached to something that’s pointing me to the answer.
Basically, when I see this number, it means “shut up and pay attention.”
I guess you can “learn” associations.
I was born February 1, at 11:11 am That is the significance it has in my life. I have not seen that number pop up much in the last few months, but before now, I regularly looked at the clock at 11:11, sometimes even twice a day, and two or three times a week. I really couldn’t tell you what it really means to me, but from my life choices and level of spiritual enlightenment that I have achieved, I would say that it could have played a part in opening those doors.
1201 is another number that holds significance, it was my address number growing up, and I happen to glance at the clock a lot at that time as well.

I’ve recently begun seeing that 11:11 again, paying attention as always.
Any chance you’ve come across an explanation of seeing one’s birthday? I still frequently see mine(9/29), my daughter’s(10/18) daily and my middle sister’s(4/24) quite often as well. Still no hint of an idea as to why and it hasn’t been for lack of investigating.
It’s been almost a year since multiple digits began appearing before me. At first, I would wake up at 1:11, 2:22, 3:33 etc. and note the sequence of number on the clock. When I mentioned this at work, a co-worker joked that the devil was coming to get me. That’s when I decided to begin researching the phenomena. 11:11 sightings became strangely frequent soon after. Now, when I see this number, I take a moment to remember that I am not alone. Some days, the presence seems stronger than others. My most recent profound moment happened during a heated argument with my widowed father. He has a history of saying hurtful things to me and never caring about their impact. Just as I was about to walk out of his home and his life forever, I saw 11:11 on the coffee maker timer (it was not the right time, just on this timer) and I breathe deeply, calmed down and stayed. So, maybe there is soemthing after all.

My husband was always seeing the number 11:11 the year before he died. He told me it meant he was going to died on that date,which would be Jan 11 2001.
01/11/01. He died in his sleep on Jan 12,2001. Every time I see the numbers 11:11 ,I feel it is a message from his spirit.
I didn’t used to see the number alot. My sister was the one who originally started seeing it. Ever since so did I…It started popping up everywhere. In fact she has a picture she took one day when the car mileage was at 111111. I would see it alot out of coincidence, but somehow when I started actually LOOKING for it, I couldn’t find it. i have always wanted an answer for this number what does it means as for the past three years and up till now i see the number11.11 on my mobile phone clock or on my pc timer or my room digital clock all the time,and it makes me feel happy when i see it i don’t know why then i started to think about the meaning behind it and i said it might means that there’s only on god and called Allah.and i feel very strong about it,i have told my sister and a friend about it then they have started to see the number also on the clock.

11:11 was only the beginning for me, I notice the changes right away especially after I understood the significance. I sought advice and was told that I would effect social change among young people. As I continue towards this goal of creating more light in our existence I see the higher number sequences. So, I know I am on the right track. I have been seeing 11:11, 1:11 , the number 26,33, 3:33, 44 and 46 for years. The number 26 is entertwined through many dates in my life. I see 11:11, 1,11 and 1 and 11 on the same area just about everyday. I wake up at 3 just about every morning and cant go to sleep for about an hr. It is a joke among my family and friends. These numbers show up no matter how much I try to ignore them so now I am researching them.
to me 11:11 is finally the answer to my prayers like its coming its letting me know my dreams and wishes are actually finally going to come true that my life is gonne get better IT DID i saw it one year before my life GOT SO MUCH BETTER WOW! i belive it was my angels telling me there here and helping me get to my HAPPINESS
If you think 11 comes up alot, start looking at the sum of a number of digits to add up to eleven. 9+2, 8+3, 7+4, 6+5, 3+4+4, 2+6+3, etc. It really starts getting bizarre. All numbers divisible by 11 are common also. Enjoy your new found obsession.

i have just found this site looking for some answer’s to 11.11 it has become a bit of an obsession with me i had never heard of this till last year i kept on saying to my wife i keep seeing 1111 all the time in letters on cars and clocks and i never thought anyone else was seeing it as well and it just seemed to start jumping out at me more and more till i took notice i have seen it twice today this morning on my watch and at the traffic lights in my car.
so about six months ago i just typed in 1111 in google and found that people all over the world are seeing 1111 i could not believe my eyes what i was seeing so i have done a bit of research and read a lot of stuff about what different people think its all about and i do really think it does have a calming feeing every time i see 1111 and i do feel that we are being prepared for something that is going to happen i don’t know what
Hello…I have been looking for someone to help me figure out why I am seeing the number 11…I see it as 911 1111 or any other time ending with 11..Lately I have been having really anxious when I know the time is going to change to something 11. I see it so much I try to not look at the clock until I know the time has past..Crazy huh! I also wake up out of a sound sleep and the time is 2:11 or 3:11 …I wake up in the morning and it is 6:11…I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 04 and had surgery, chemo and radiation..I am not sure if all this was happening before. I am a 2 year 10 months survivor. But now I see this number all the time..I was so consumed with this that my daughter told me to make a wish every time I see it. So now that is what I have been doing, it makes it easier for me to cope..Maybe someday I will really figure out the meaning of all this, but in the meantime I hope it is a positive thing..Thank you for reading this.

It’s weird but I do see 11:11 a lot of times too and just like the friend I always scream too saying make a wish! But this may sound weird but I try to remember bday making them into a time lets say one of my friend’s bday is Feb 14 so everytime it’s 2:14 I say her name and know it;s her bday but what is really weird is that almost every morning or every evening whenever it is 8:13 I always always somehow look at the time. I dont care to know what time it is but somehow i will wake up in the morning and check for time and its 813 and when I am working on computer all of a sudden i will look at the time and its 813 or driving home and look at the time and it;s 813. August 13 is my bday and my brother’s bday although we are 3 years apart but we share the same bday. I am not sure if it means something but I would love to know why does this 8:13 always grabs my attention no matter what I am doing? If you can help me out I will really appreciate it. Thanks!

The number 11:11 came to me 29 years ago, when I was 11. It came to me by way of my scout’s troop number. Of course at the time, I thought nothing of it. Then about a year later my mother saw 11:11 and made only a sound. I asked her what was that about. She then began to tell me about her boyfriend and brother. The brother had been seeing it, the boyfriend had been seeing it, they went to lunch and saw it while together and then realized, both had been seeing it, but did not know the other had been. From that day on, 11:11 has been with me.
I always knew it meant something, but never ever really sure what. I still am not totally sure.
Out of the ‘possibilities’ listed above, I lean towards ‘you are on the right track’
The number of people I encounter who also have 11:11 following them is amazing.
I will see the number and say- oh 11:11. I get one of two responses-

Perhaps some of this is a subconscious thing, but not totally all the time.

My story is pretty much the same as everyones. Ive been seeing 111 , 1111 for over 25 yrs. My wife told me I was getting to sound a bit goofy maybe I shouldnt bring it up all the time. Then one day she was watching a program with Sylvia brown and some asked her what these numbers meant .Well that made her get real quiet about the subject . I started telling my kids I didnt understand what it meant but it did mean somthing . God would eventually let me know. So for now Id say the lords prayer when I see them . Then one day Im sitting in church and decide to open up a prayer book that was sitting in the pew . Well the page I opened to was about Luke 11:1 When the lord taught the apostles how to pray . I just smiled and showed my son .
The first time I saw 11:11 was in the sky while I was dreaming and that was 10yrs ago; since then its been many many times and I believe its a message to get your house in order because God Is coming for you.
This number has been occurring to me for the past two years. It all started at disneyland with my mom and younger brother. We walked past one of those fortune teller boxes and my mom saw something fall down out of the corner of her eye. It was one of the fortune cards, the funny thing is, nobody was anywere near it. So i went and picked it up and said “let’s see who this sounds like the most” Well, i started reading it and halfway through my mother said “That sounds like you, Caitlin” I got to the bottom of the card where it says what your lucky number is and it said my lucky number is 11. Ever since then I have seen it EVERYWHERE. Digital clocks, adresses, cell phone clocks, and just many different variations of it in random places, I have even seen it two different times at the gas pump where it says how many gallons it put in your tank. I always wondered what Exactly it meant but never actually looked it up until now. But everytime I have seen it I just know that it’s lucky and that I’m on the right path that I’m meant to be traveling, I’m 19 now and I hope this tradition plagues me the rest of my life, because I feel that I’m never lost or hopeless, that there will always be something to help guide me the right way and I love it.

I think your interpretation is one of the better ones i have heard. I also see the numbers 11:11 on a constant basis starting two years ago. The incident began on November 11 around 1:11 am. I recieved a phone call that was dead on the other end. I left it go. It didn’t bother me, and i thought it was all in my head. Until the numbers kept reoccuring following bad things. Break-ups, money problems, and dasha-vue. It was just another November 11 a few days ago, and i was with my boyfriend. I think this year he finally beleived me, because this events this year were hard to deny. He beleives me. Anyone knowing misfortune from the numbers?
Misfortune is a matter of perspective. There are things that happen to us that we fight against and do not like, yet a change is needed and if we do not willingly take action, then change is forced upon us.
I have, in the past, viewed things in that “why me?” eye, only to later see that had this ‘bad fortune’ not happened, then the good fortune I was experiencing would have NEVER happened.
There are so many different thoughts about the number 11:11 specifically and what it means today, in these modern times, I do not subscribe to any of them specifically, for what it means I think is specific to the person that sees it, as well as in the moment.
Regardless- it is a number that has an effect on many of us, that cannot be denied.
In numerology, the numbers 1-9 are significant and the primary numbers used.
BUT- there are double digit numbers that are called ‘Master’ numbers and those are 11 & 22.
11:11……11+11=22
I think that this ancient system holds a key to what this is all about.
i think i have come a long way in the last couple of months i was searching all the time looking for answers and didnt seem to get anywhere knowing that i was almost there in finding my answers i think its a journey that everyone who see’s 1111 to find out for themselfs i recommend studying the mayan calendar
and cropcircles and things seem to fall in to place because on 21/12/2012 on the winter solstice at exactly 11:11 pm thats when the mayan calendar ends or some people think it is the start of a new consciousness what ever you believe 1111 definitely is linked to these dates and some of the cropcirles what are showing up have 1111 in them and point to 2012 but i do think it is a journey that we have to all go through and what an exciting time to be alive

Last year my grandfather, who I was very close to, died. The day that he died I felt like he was all around me. The week of the funeral I noticed the number 11 all around me. The parking spot where we parked the car (11), my room number (11), the day of the funeral (11), and the time of the funeral (11). The number was everywhere around me. I have noticed it occuring around me since then but this month I have noticed it everywhere I go… Its overwhelming but at the same time maybe it is my grandfather looking down on me when i see this number that is supposed to be some sort of gateway. Im not sure. If someone could comment me back on this I would be interested to know their input.
Stephan- not to burst your bubble or anything, but the time of 11:11 for the Solstice is incorrect. This has been played out in many a website and I cannot understand why. I guess those that are putting that info out there are doing so as a way to ‘convince’ people that these things are to be payed attention to.
For those like myself who have deeply studied the Mayan calendar, Astrology, Sacred Geometry and then some- know better, so to me it looks like they are grasping what ever they can. But for those who don’t study these things just take the information to be true without any doubts.

Now, not to totally debunk or discredit the 11 in connection to 12-21-2012….
1+2+2+1+2+0+1+2 = 11. But then again, that is going by the Gregorian calendar and not Natural time, but hey, it is the system being used and the Universe/Spirt will adapt as deemed neccissary.

Around the time that we began our official careers as astrologers, we noticed an odd trend. Each day we’d glance at the clock at 11:11 and 1:11. Shortly thereafter, we had our first meeting with our editor at Teen People magazine. As we entered the building, lo and behold the address was 111 51st Street. And on and on it went. We began working with a TV company whose office was in Suite 1111. We’d have a flash of inspiration and a bus would pass by, numbered 111. We started meeting other astrologers and intuitives who told us they saw 11:11 all the time too. We had to do some research on this! Here’s what we found:
Make A Wish at 11:11
Many of friends who aren’t intuitives had been making a wish every time they saw 11:11 or 1:11 on the clock. No one’s been able to trace the origins of that one. It was just something they learned on the playground or from a random relative. Cute! We were inspired by this to create a T-shirt for our AstroStyle clothing line that reads “Make a Wish – 11:11.” You may have seen it at the retail chain Journeys!
Lightworkers & Earth Angels: A Call to Action
We uncovered an entire network of people who consider themselves “lightworkers.” Lightworkers have a mission in this lifetime to hold as much light for the planet as possible; in essence raising the frequency of love and one-ness on Earth. Seeing 11:11 on the clock is a wake up call or a reminder that you are a lightworker. We love this! Other accounts we’ve seen regard this number as a message from angels letting you know that you’re an “angel on earth,” with the same mission as a lightworker. The Mayans
Our searches kept leading us to info on The Mayan Calendar. If you don’t already know, the Mayans were an incredibly advanced, ancient Mexican civilization with extraordinary skills in astronomy and math. Their 26,000 year-old calendar officially ends on December 21, 2012 at (you guessed it) 11:11. This date marks a re-birth of our world according to the Mayans. This new world we are moving towards is all about oneness rather than separation. If you see 11:11, this may be another clue that you are here to advance the concept of “we are all one” across the world. Take it or leave it, it’s a beautiful ideology and we know the late Bob “One Love” Marley would approve. P.S. The widely read book The Celestine Prophecy is loosely connected to The Mayan Calendar as are a number of other New Age and consciousness-raising texts.

Good info, you know your stuff, maybe you should teach if you don’t do it already. I don’t claim to know much except being constantly reminded of the double digits for different reasons. I figure people are asking so I am passing on what is there…I have spent many a days reading about the flower of life, the chronicles, the emerald tablets, alchemy stuff, george barnard, merkaba etc…I could certainly go on…But I think it is wonderful that people believe that it is time to spread love and joy throughout our planet…thinking happy good thoughts…we certainly could use more nice-ness.
Does anyone really know why we are here or what we need to do as a people. If we did we would probably be in a different place. I am a Muse and always have been so, I will continue to hit unsuspecting folks over the head with energy efficient light bulbs and send them on their way. LOL, make it a stellar day!!

Hi, wow me too…. It’s been since 1998 for me. I was ready to start a new adventure the next day, before I closed my eyes to sleep I looked at the time and all three of the digital clocks were at 11:11. It was the VCR, CABLE and DIGITAL CLOCK, which I never noticed to be on the same exact time before! Any whoo, I also noticed that after the fact the number started to show up at the most disturbing times I didn’t want to look at the time any more. Just in the last few years I’ve started to accept this as a good thing and thanks to sites like this one I thank the time now and try to accept that when my angel is ready it will reveal itself to me. I continue to stay on the path and slowly things are becoming revealed to me all though I am still resistant because of the resources not available to me at this time. It is very interesting and does fit into some of the other things that goes along with what you’ll find about 11:11, evolution shifts, and such.
I remembered this article from weeks ago. Yesterday, after a year or so, I finally realized something very importend in my relation to my dear friend. In short, I know adn deep in his being he also knows, we have an eternal connection, the attraction is beyond words, our energies together is marvelous. Nevertheless he has a girlfriend. The affair goes on for a year now, I feel him even not around. Lots of times I feel terrible, hurt, lost, sad, and want to cry or be angry. But I realized this was his pain, and sorrow not mine. “cause I feel great with the love I have and feel for him, even though we are nott together as I would like to. To tell him that, and he has to figure it out for himself, and I feel him standing next to him, I send him a SMS.
REMARKABLE is, the time of sending my love and light, to him, was exactly 22:22. Today, I check the send SMS, to see if I made it clear. The TIME I read it was: 11:11 !!
I’m counting down, time is coming for us to be. I feel the higher powers are on our side, things will be okay. Like you wrote: lift off! right track..on to something big, great oppertunities!!.
I feel enormes blessed by the signs that the powers that be give me…

I have noticed the number over and over again in the last month or so. It has come around every day sometimes 2 times a day. I see other numbers as well.. like 1:11 or 10:01 or 10:10 but mostly I see 11:11 but it is odd… I am not even thinking about what time it is and it is like someone tells me to look up and there it is! I always Make a wish hehe that is what I learned as a teen. But one night I was watching tv and my phone falls of the top of the sofa and I look at what time it is and it is 11:11 and I look up at the cable box and it is the same and then I start thinking there has got to be more to this that me wishing for everything to come true in my near future.
So I decided to take a completely different path and I just made this change about a month ago. I have been seeing this number ever since. So I believe that eather my guardian angels or the universe is telling me that I am making the right move.
Or I read on one page the law of attraction….like “the secret”. That is what I have been doing thinking everyday of the things I need to be able to succeed.
But I have now been searching for the right answer…. so that is why I am on this page.

I have seen 11:11 on clocks, phones the time my messages come into my phone etc. This has happened since i was a teen and I am in my 30’s now. When I see the numbers I feel sickly inside that lump in your stomach. The kind of internal feeling you have when you see a ambulance and you feel remorse for the person who is ill inside the ambulance. So since it hit me with such feelings I ignored the numbers no one told me to make a wish and I automatically assumed the numbers were end numbers if I saw them I might die soon. About 2 years ago I began having vivd dreams the enveloped my soul and brought my spirit down horribly. The numbers increased with more intensity so one night i put into my all seeing eye (my laptop) the number 11:11 and I was surprised by the amount of those that see the numbers. I wasn’t alone the number that haunts me haunts others but I also found the Mayan end count day and time and that feeling hit my stomach again except this time the Day that I saw was what made my stomach turn it was my daughters birthday 12-21 and the end time was 11:11. Two specific sets of numbers are intertwined in my life. Why? I enveloped my soul into the knowledge of it all and 1 year later I developed bell palsy more questions arose and now I am connecting the reasons. My daughter is intuitive and a fighter she is my goal for the future whatever may be during this time will hit her at influential age (teen) I feel I must prepare her for the realities of the world and for her to not live delusionally the world can change in a flash. We have been here only but a blink of the life of the universe to be prepared for change and accept and move forward with the changes and live with you heart because your mind and body might be telling you something and to not ignore it like I did for so many years.

Im 47 and been seeing 1111 everywherefor close to 30 years,even on speedometers twice ,both times where not my car and had no idea of the current kms on speedo,but my eyes where drawn to the speedo at that time.

The bible has always been a big question to me.Ive tried to read it many times with no luck of understanding it.
recently I really tried to understand it and really got confused of what I thought god is ,it seems the bible contridicts what I would think god would believe.
For about the last 2 months, I’ve been seeing the number 7 everywhere. I notice it a lot at work. About 20 to 30 times a day, I look at the clock (without thinking about it or caring to find out what time it is) and the time always ends in a 7. I’ve also noticed that sometimes something happens that draws my attention to the clock (for example, the phone ringing) at a time that ends in a 7, and most of the faxes that I receive come at a time that ends in a 7. One day last week I decided to call someone on my cell phone, and the time was 2:37.
I’ve also seen a lot of license plates with numbers that end in a 7 while driving. This is usually when I turn to look at a license plate without thinking about it, and sometimes a few different people will cut in front of me with a number that ends in a 7.
This is kind of intense sometimes, and I wonder what it means. The only thing that I can think of is that I dated someone off and on during most of 2007, and we were 7 years apart. Does anyone have any other ideas? Can the number 7 also be related to lightworkers?
I find this article interesting. I myself have been followed by the number 11 for some time. I was born on Oct 11, at 8:11. My sister was born on the 11th of august. My step dad was born on the 11 of January. My other sister WAS going to be born on the 11th, but her c-section go cancelled. My son, who I had in 2008, was born at 11:11 pm exactly. The first house I rented happened to be In number 11, after 2 weeks of searching. When I climb onto a machine at the gym, it happens to be the number 11. In the military I was the number 11 for line calling. In school, I was always number 11 in line there too. Sometimes when I talk about the number 11, it pops up. I was a restaurant talking about it, and when my bill came, it was $11:11. The clocks have also followed me, whether it is 11:11 or 12:11, an 11 is always there. I’m not sure why this number has followed me so much over the years, but I’m very curious to know why. I am only 22 (double of 11….) and I feel that so far that 11 has shown itself so much in my life, I wonder how much more it will pop up. I don’t know why it happens, and I haven’t noticed anything special about the number, but just that my life and body are drawn to that number regardless the situation, and mostly not with an effort to do so.

I started seeing 11:11 on the clock twice a day a short time after my best friend passed away about 10 years ago. I always felt that when I saw that it was her way of letting me know she was around and that she loved me. I seemed to see it more often when I was going through hard times. Whenever I would notice it I would always say “Hi Rani” (Rani was her name). Now, even when my husband notices 11:11 on the clock he says “Hi Rani”
For me 11:11 has been around for 22 years. At that time I had a somewhat rude spiritual awakening but it was an awakening that hasn’t gone away since!
So 11:11 refers to having both an “earth” job and a spiritual job. Of course the spiritual job is to make sure that as many people as possible are encouraged to be spiritually aware and responsible. Making wishes and improving your life are all part of this. Yes I do think there is a spritiual universe. And 11:11 is a bit of a “call to arms”. Welcome y’all!
My grandfather passed away on June 11, 1990. I was extremely close to him and he passed just before my wedding on November 10 that year. He was supposed to give me away and I kept reminding him to get better for my wedding. About 40 days after he passed I had a visit from him in a dream and we chatted back and forth and then he said he had to go. I said OK and asked if he will be there for my wedding, he said he would be there and then I woke up. The day of my wedding there was a huge rainbow in the sky and that was my sign from him. So, during this timeframe is when I noticed I kept looking at the clock when it said 11:11, and it started to spook me because I was trying to make sense out of those particular numbers. It wasn’t until today that I decided to do a search on it and was shocked to see so many links about it. Today is also my birthday and I’m not sure what significance that play. I definitely link seeing these numbers to my grandfather reminding me he is still here with me.

I picked up my iPhone to check my mail, I turn it on, first thing I see,
- it’s 11:11. I make an announcement to the household.
Then I go to my email an it loads the new emails and on top is the email from here telling me of new responses.

You guys are lucky, you seem to only see only a few series of numbers such as 11:11 or 10:10, and those sequences can happen every so often.
Whereas with me, it’s different…
It’s happening to me everyday, sometimes twice a day, BUT some days see it 10 - 12 times,
Not only do i see MATCHING numbers such as 11:11, 10:10, 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 19:19, 20:20, 22:22, 23:23 and more..
but I ALSO see MIRROR numbers all the time as well, such 22:55, 12:21, 21:12, 10:01, 9:09, 8:08, 1:01, 3:23, 5:25, just to name a few…
(Believe me, there are loads more sequences i see both matching and mirror, i just cant think of every single one right now)
It’s happening everyday to me, and its been happening now for over a year now, i see both MATCHING and MIRROR numbers all the time. whether its one of the other, i seem to see em throughout the day…
I see them ALL THE TIME, every day, through out the day, i’ve tried blocking it out, there’s always some way of me seeing some display of numbers, and it ends up being one of these 2 sequences,
i dunno what it is, but i’ts really frustrating to know what the hell is going on, and why am i seeing more sequences and no1 else is doing the same…
What you can do if you are innunidated with these numbers is to simply tell the “universe” STOP! Sometimes it works.
But you can also change your clocks to dial face and also just quit looking at them unless you have to for some work-related reason.
It is partly really an internal choice to be aware of the sequences…it isn’t necessary to torment yourself however.
Afterall the universe does run on a steady rhythm which is the basis of all our time but you don’t have to be in the Middle of the time stream!

I see 11 11, 222, 333, 444, 111, 1110, etc. I feel after doing research and reading everything that I have found, I believe that the universe is speaking to us and sending us messages to wake up and start on our mission. What we are here for to do for the greater good. What ever that gift is, you can make a difference in this world. Everytime I read about it I learn something new. Use your own judgement, what you feel that the universe is asking you to do. This is a road that you have to discover. Ask yourself questions, what is going on in my life that I need to change, Acknowlege that this is real and be grateful. Really be aware of all your senses and pray in your own way, its the intent. See how your life changes when you do. This is a road that you choose to accept or not. I am so glad I have found this web site! I have been trying to convince those around me that “something” has been trying to tell me something. I see triple digits everytime I turn around and they come in clusters. I tried to rationalize that it was just a coinsidence. But, the overwhelming intuition that there was more to it kept me seeking for answers. I am not a clock watcher. I lead a pretty laid back life style . The fact that im drawn to the clock to see that once again it says triple digits or multiple digits boggled me. I will be in a daze and look up to see the liscense in front of me is triple. I got lost the other day and the first house I came upon was again triple fours. I do truly believe that I am suppossed to hear this message but I just dont know what it is.
Ok, I dont know where to begin so I am just going to start at the beginging. A month ago I had a strange erge to call my mom and tell her I thought her house was going to burn down. She said Heidi I was just telling the teller what a odd number for a total to be because it was 11:11 seconds b4 you called me. I immedietly asked her if when she got home she could c if this number had any significance behind it. She called me back and mentioned lightworkers and chakra balencing. This wouldnt have been so startling if I hadent went to my car and found a flyer for a psychic who did chakra balencing and my car was the only one with a flyer on it. This is definetly not a “coincidence” Befor finding that I have never even heard of that before. Even tonight at I looked up at the clock at 11:11. I guess im wondering what 11:11 actually stands for and if it has anything to do with balencing and/or claravoyant. I have read just about everything there is - for the most part, that there is on 11:11
and there is no defined or absolute meaning to the number other than it is some message and it is Universal. What the message is - is different to each individual.
From the experiences you have expressed, you are psychic and if this is new to you, being aware of 11:11 is acting as a catalyst, urging you to explore the workings of Spirit on earth as well as within yourself.
11:11 has be with me for most of my life and is a very prominate.

Ever since we started using digital clocks I would always happen to look at the clock when there were triple or 4 same digit numbers. It began to bother me it was so constant. I had not begun my true spiritual journey yet and began to think it was some kind of bad omen. This went on for many years and I tried to ignore it. About six years ago I reconnected with an old boy friend I knew from high school. After 32 years I still carried a flame for him. He told me he had become very spiritual and I was excited about that being I had now began searching for spiritual growth. He told me to open an email account so we could communicate. Without really thinking about it I added 1111 to part of my email address. In the following years our conversations involved talking about God, love, and positive growth. Ever since then I have found my spiritual path, my purpose and best of all God’s Devine Light. I have kept the same email since then and see these numbers everytime I open my email account!
I never really considered the time 11:11 with any significances other then hearing of the saying ” it’s 11:11 make a wish” However for the pass couple of months, I have noticed that when i go to check out the time I always look at that particular time. wheather its the morning or night, I always seem to catch 11:11. My first experience with 11:11 was on a thanksgiving weekend. That friday there was a bad storm. The power flicked off for a few seconds. Now when this happens, my stove clock would automatically go to 12:00 and be flashing until I reset it. This time I noticed that it was flashing 11:11 and remember thinking how odd that was. The thing that was even stranger was that it wasn’t even the right time. It was actually 9:00 in the morning. That weekend I had three different water disasters in my house. The roof got a leak in it and it was dripping through the ceiling onto my stove. That was right after I saw 11:11. The next night, Saturday, a pipe in the basement sprung a leak. The next night, sunday,a little hole appeared in the pipe on my water heater and was spewing water all over the furnace room. After that weekend, it seemed like every time I looked at a clock it was 11 minutes after something. That progressed to triple digits along with seeing 11:11 at different times.
And lo and behold to this day I see 11, 111 and 1111 regularly at different times in my life, and at this very moment, just looked at the computer clock without even thinking about looking at it, and there it is, 11:11. I say thank you to spirit every time for just being there. I had a previous address that was 111, had an ex boyfriend whose work address was 111, and where I am working, the address is 111. Always prominent in my life.
Now what does it all mean? I wish I really knew the whole of it. It does reassure me though that there is something else out there and I am deserving of it. I take note and always say thank you.

I have come across the number 1111 several times… I notice that it comes up more often when I am in times where I need gids help because a situation that I am in. This morning I was sound asleep and at 11:11 am, I wake out of a deep sleep and look to see what time it was. It was 11:11. I then fell back to sleep and woke at 1211. I am in need of gods helpp due to the situation that I am in. I do believe that there are angels among us. I have seen the number since the year 2000. But I notice that the numbers appear only when there is something in my life that needs immediate attention. Or when something is wrong and needs to be corrected. I Strongly believe that there are angels or something telling me not to give up and that I am in the right direction. i notice 4 of my friend that see the same thing number 1111 on a clock. all say the same thing, that they never get sick or if they do its only for part of the day or just over night. well it might seem strange but if it work so far why thing different. and if it helps us think sprital and pray for to god and i guess it work because we all beleave in it.
I started seeing numbers 11:11 or 12:21, 22:22, 21:12 etc on my clock of computer or car or celphone several times a day and it really triggers me because of the repeatedness. Hey Odi, from the sounds of it it is say “buck up” “You will be OK, jsut keep on the right path”.
If you have a moral choice -two directions facing you - the numbers are in favor of the decison that benefits the largest number of people/areas over the smaller.
So if the relationship was with a person who is damaging to any area of life and you are in a turmoil then I’d say your numbers spirit is telling you to get away.
If the relationship was very positive then it is in the direction of keeping with it.
If you were dumped then the numbers are in support of you and telling you to keep on …
the numbers are from a spiritual plane and a higher one than you or I are on…but the spiritual plane is in favor of flourishing and prospering.

I have digital clocks in my home. Many times when I just look up at the clock it is 11:11. It happens regularly somes times daily then it goes away for a while but it returns. It dosen’t count if I look at the clock and it is 11:10. It has to be 11:11 for it to count. I want to belive that it is a message that I am doing something right? Nothing in my life has significantly changed or gotton better. I will tell you this on the date of 11/11/11 I dont think i will even get out of bed!
I see 1111 alot but my phone rings at 333 everynight ,I dont know why but i am seeing 777 alot now on cars
Oh my god!!! I just recently looked up the meaning of 11:11 because I’ve been seeing it around SO much lately that I knew there had to be some meaning to it!! I like your interpretation of it very much. I’ve made some major decisions in my life latetly that I had hoped were the right ones for me. When I read your article, chills ran up and down my body that were so intense that I feel like it had to be a message from my spirit guides, or some higher power!!!
My husband and I have made the major decision to not have children, and I have started back to school, but part of me kept wondering if I was on the right track for me. It’s so hard when society is constantly telling you what you should be doing. Thanks a lot! I now feel like that must be the message because it has been crazy how much I’ve seen that number!!!!
Tonight, I had to know. So I googled, “Why do I keep seeing the numbers 11/11?” My husband sees 11/11 as well. We both wake up to 2:22, 3:33 or 4:44.
He is comforted by the numbers. He believes when he sees them that it’s going to be a good day. I feel something else…like time is running out and I’m
supposed to get something done or that someone is trying to tell me something. It drives me nuts! I had no idea that I would learn anything about 11/11 when I googled that question. OMG!, I was blown away reading all the posts of similar experiences. Honestly, it brought tears to my eyes - it was somewhat comforting to know that we’re not alone with these “events?”

there is somthing going on with these numbers I myseft I have been seeing them now for a couple of years and just like everyone else I typed it in google when I first started to see them and like everyone one else as time gos by I see 2222 3333 1234 on a daily bases first of all it was driving me mad knowing that there is some answer out there someware mybe that’s part of the plan a sort of leaning thing I have studied everything I could on this subject and still find the same questions but I think we all know deep down that there is somthing coming weather it is good or bad or a warning of some sort but till then everybody just enjoy these great numbers. 11:11 they have brought balence into my life and made me a better person thank you 11:11 i think there must be a connection between everyone and these numbers I know I started seeing them right after i was really ill

I was born on 11/11 and I feel extremely special alot of people call me a good luck charm because when im around good thing happen but i only seem to be good luck for other people i dont know if that a conicidence or if it something more what do you think ?
My mother…Mary Jane, was born on Nov. 11th. I first started seeing the number on a regular basis after she passed away in 2002. It wasn’t just clocks either. It was the bill I would get for a serioes of items at Wal-Mart or even the change I recieved after paying a check. I would see it on license plates and addresses. Just about anywhere. I kind of took it as messages from her telling me she was guiding me along the way and helping in my decisions.
I met a woman who also saw the same numbers and borm in November too. Thought that was a sign butthe relationship didn’t last. I’m starting to see the number again…not sure what it means now..Where is she leadingme?
Ray, just because the relationship did not last, does not mean it was a failure or not meant to be. We often encounter others that we are supposed to be with even if it is for a short period of time. We all have many lessons to learn in life and all the experiences, long and short make these lessons.

Perhaps just rephrase the question from “Where is she leading me?” to “Where am I going?”
Your signs may not be a guide, as much as they could be a reassurance. Perhaps your Mother, or a higher power is just cheering you on
Luna is likely correct, that the woman may not have been meant to last any longer than she did. Maybe you learned a small lesson from your time with her, and that was all that you needed there. On the other hand, a birth month of November is certainly not uncommon. Take care not to seek you affirmations out.
My wife and I started seeing this number over 15 years ago (her a lot more than me). It slacked off a few years then right before 9/11 we were bombarded with 1111. Even our grocery totals were sometimes totaling 11.11. All three of our children see it quite often too! It seems that all of our birthdays are derivatives of this number and every place we have lived in the last 20 years the address has also been a derivative of this number! This last week it has been everywhere! This morning I was watching the History channel about the Mayan calender and my wife looked it up on line and noticed that the exact time for this supposed event to take place was 11:11…….wow any insight to this would be appreciated!
